Young Lara Croft managed to return alive from her first adventure, but instead of basking in a warm bath and relaxing on a soft sofa, she set off on an even more dangerous adventure to complete her father’s work. To our Russian Siberia, by the way!
Rise of the Tomb Raider

Still, the main problem of the game was and remains – Pratchett’s Daughter. I don’t understand why they still keep her on staff. She killed the thief, she killed Tomb Raider, why step on the same rake three times in a row?.
The games are mainly played by boys, the target audience is male. It’s because Lara is Indiana Jones with boobs that makes her such a success. Wait, downvote for sexism. In the review, the author clearly said that the problem with the game is that the developers themselves do not know what they want from the game. And the highlight of this conflict is the script of the same Rihanna Pratchett, who projects her feminine “I am poor, unhappy” onto Lara, who mows down hundreds of enemies in a product that is intended for entertainment. Not to mention that aside from the female projections, the script and story itself are lackluster.
The result is Frankenstein. Part from assassins, part from last of as, unchatred, and all this around a mediocre script.
Although, in Rihanna’s defense, https://11iccasino.co.uk/login/ it’s worth saying that the YouTubers haven’t had a game with a decent storyline for a long time. So it’s more of a publisher’s policy here.
I don’t know, the wrong course was taken from the beginning. The games turn out to be too intimate. I’m sure that almost the entire game will have to be avoided in Siberia. This is not what you expect from a Tomb Raider. I want an intriguing, mysterious adventure. Like in the films: Treasure of Nations or the eponymous Lara with Jolie. But this is not in the game.
I personally want a constant change of scene. In contrast – from some deserts in Peru, to a picturesque Chinese village against the backdrop of mountains. Moreover, I want action and spy missions, at some social events, and I want to take a walk around Lady Croft’s mansion.
As a result, we have an average game that is complete on all fronts. Moreover, this female emancipation in the person of Rihanna is pratchet. Drive her to the neck, to the neck. Why does this untalented woman sit and take the place of a really smart Screenwriter?. WHY? WHY?
I spoke my mind against the backdrop of universal worship of Uncharted. I don’t claim the laurels of the most important) If I hurt your feelings for Uncharted, then I’m sorry)
There are spoilers in the review, but I already know that the game is good. All the Larks have always been cool and even Angel of Darkness, just a little unfinished.:)
I don’t understand the general hysteria around Uncharted. I played all three remasters, and all three are commendably good. Doesn’t smell like raisins. The music is dull and not memorable, the main character is a pathological loser, over time it becomes terribly annoying. He’s never lucky. As soon as he finds something, it is immediately taken away; if he steps on something, it will collapse. The animation is pretty average, the plot is just okay, the characters are funny but generic. The whole game is a cliche, no revelations, “all this was already in The Simpsons”. By the way, I forgot to mention the genocide of opponents, of which there is an inordinate amount, some kind of adventure Rambo.
P.S. I met Lara through Legends, then Anniversary and Underworld, and in terms of the adventure atmosphere they are cooler than Uncharted and the TR restart.
P.P.S. IMHO of course 🙂
Chickens instead of arrows – this is not a reference to the movie "Hot Shots 2"?

Well, yes, but there are old games that are interesting to play even now, even for the first time. Uncharted is not one of those.
Yes, I completely agree. In general, the prerequisites for an excellent adventure game were there, and as you correctly noted, the whole spirit of the National Treasure should also be present if they had made a vivid plot and varied gameplay. I also didn’t understand something about Rhianna Pratchett at all, either from the previous game or from this one… Obviously a different screenwriter was needed.
